Danfoss Editron designs and manufactures state-of-the-art electrification systems and products consisting of high-voltage electric motors, generators, converters and energy storage systems for the global Off-Highway, Commercial Vehicle and Marine markets. We are currently looking for an PMI Development Engineer to expand our team.
Job Responsibilities
In your role as PMI Development Engineer within the Editron Off-Highway Business unit, you will be the responsible of product maintenance and improvements for existing product portfolio.
Furthermore.
- Be responsible for product structure according to specification, prepare and maintain 3D models, 2D engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Follow up released products and improve product structure continuously.
- Be responsible for the product changes already in portfolio result for a process or design improvement.
- Maintain ad optimize the Bills of Materials (BOM) structure in an accurate, timely manner whilst supporting the parts release and engineering change processes follow directives or standards.
- Assist in conceptual design an verify new structure designs.

As a person you are a proactive problem solver, who has the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. You possess a strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. It will be an advantage if you are familiar with working in an internationally oriented environment with many stakeholders. We expect you to be a proactive team player and to take ownership of your work. You should thrive working with different cultures, mindsets, backgrounds and in a fast-paced environment.
Furthermore.
- Bachelor's and/or master’s degree within mechanical engineering or related.
- 2+ years of experience in PMI Development or related operational roles
- Proficient CAD (NX, Inventor) and PLM software skills.
- Fluent English skills both in writing and speaking.
- Experience of BoM control and understanding of change management processes.
- Previous skills and experience in working in a manufacturing engineering environment.
- Technical awareness/understanding of engineering applications/manufacturing processes.
