Position Overview
As a Customer Service Associate at Omnie, you are responsible for ensuring that customers are satisfied, and orders get processed. You will be handling customer inquiries, managing relationships with our vendors, and processing our orders. First you will learn to process orders and sample requests. Then you will learn the purchasing aspect of the business and will then handle customer inquiries. If you enjoy working with customers, vendors & order processing, then this is the perfect role for you.
General Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Customer Service/Order Management:
- Handle inbound customer inquiries related to products, order status or other questions that come in via email, phone, and/or online chat
- Communicate with vendors via email or phone pertaining to fulfillment or stock inquiries from customers
- Process sample requests
- Mange email inboxes in help desk platform called Gorgias
Qualifications:
- 1+ year/s customer service experience required
- 1+ year/s extensive ecommerce experience required
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, follow-up, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detailed oriented and organized
- Excellent listening skills and phone demeanor
- Ability to connect w/ customers over the phone
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with Shopify is a preferred
- Familiarity with Google Business products (ex. Gmail for business, Google Sheets) also a preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word products – Excel (basic/intermediate) preferred
