DB2 Administrator [Philippines]

 

Shift: Shifting Schedule
Working Condition: Hybrid (1 a month in the office) Location: Global One Eastwood Quezon City - Global One Building
WORK YOU'LL DO

• Perform problem analysis and resolution, both technical and application related.
• Install and maintain IBM DB2 software and utilizing SMP/E.
• Resolve DB2-related applications adhering to agreed SLAs
• Provide timely updates to the team, leads, and client for ticket status.
• Provide technical support on a day-to-day basis using DB2 database
• Ensure DB2 servers are up and running but not limited to Capacity Management,

Availability Management

• Making requested changes, updates and modifications to database structure and

data

• Maintain all database instances across development, staging, and production

environments, handling installations and configurations as needed

• Verify that SLA objectives for database server topology, configuration, and

maintenance are met in design and execution

• Analyze and provide recommendation for optimization on IBM DB2 servers as

Database Administrators

• Maintaining database backup and recovery infrastructure
